The night footage captured the builders drop the waste off the back of a white truck and hurl it into the distance.

The rubbish began to fall into a nearby river and seep in to the stream posing a huge threat to the environment.

Because of the severe risk to the local wildlife Harrow Council ordered the mountain of rubbish to be cleaned at a £4,000 cost to the taxpayer.

The Harrow-based company was sentenced at Willesden Magistrates Court and hit with the hefty fee.

The company’s director, Ivan Hausjell failed to attend the hearing earlier this month, ordered to wear an electronic ankle tag and ordered to £1,600.

Leader of the local council, Graham Henson said: ‘That’s money that should have been spent on residents who live here and actually care about Harrow,

‘Thankfully the law agreed with us and the culprit was hit hard with a £51,000 bill.’

Hausjell is known for his fly-tipping habits after he repeatedly dumped household items and refurbishment waste on the playing fields in November 2016.

The council have since installed  hidden cameras to combat the issue in the family park.
