Londsdale business finds deadly brown snake hiding in their oven

A deadly snake has been found inside an oven at a local business.

Staff at a business in Lonsdale, South Australia were working away when an employee spotted a snake slither into the stove.

Snake catchers were called and were able to bag up the sneaky reptile.

Video of the incident shows a snake catcher opening up the back of an oven.

The eastern brown snake can be seen tangled up in a number of wires, but with a little prodding the catchers manage to coax the reptile out.

‘A local business is going about their daily business when one employee saw the half end of a snake go under their stove,’ the snake catcher said.

‘They called us up and the snake ended up going into the stove so it’s a case of pulling it apart until you locate the snake.’

The snake was bagged up safely and staff went back to work.
