She’s the Kiwi-born singer-songwriter who achieved international fame at just 16, with her debut single Royals on the Pure Heroine album.

And Lorde, real name Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor, delighted fans with her powerhouse vocals at her sold-out Sydney concert on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old cut an edgy figure, flaunting her taut torso in a glittering midriff and coordinating trousers.

Lorde sported a black and silver speckled midriff, with strategic cut-outs above the bust highlighting her delicate décolletage.

Teamed with a pair of high-waisted coordinating pants, the chart-topper also drew the eye to her toned tummy.  

Accessorising with gold hoop earrings and a delicate necklace, Lorde allowed her signature brunette locks to fall effortlessly around her face and shoulders.

Finishing off the look was a makeup palette consisting of a matte complexion, defined brows and a natural lip colour.

Meanwhile, despite her debut single Royals reaching number one on the US and UK charts, Lorde revealed on 60 Minutes in June this year that she still considers herself an ‘underdog.’

She humbly told Channel Nine’s Allison Langdon: ‘I’m just the underdog again. I always think, like making an album, I’m just that kid to and from work, sitting on the train.’
