Lori Loughlin’s daughter Olivia Jade is seen for the first time since the college bribery scandal

Olivia Jade Giannulli has been seen for the first time since both her parents were arrested and charged in the college bribery scandal.

Lori Loughlin’s daughter has kept a low profile amid a rumored rift with her parents after they were arrested for allegedly paying a $500,000 bribe to get the 19-year-old and her older sister Isabella, 20, into USC.

But the YouTube star was pictured Thursday being driven by her older sibling in their Mercedes-Benz through Santa Monica. It is not known where they were headed but their parents are said to live nearby.

Olivia was pictured in the passenger seat of the vehicle. She appeared to cover her face after being spotted by photographers and slouched down to avoid being pictured.

It comes amid reports she had been staying with her boyfriend Jackson Guthy because she isn’t on speaking terms with her parents.

‘Olivia has been staying with her boyfriend in Malibu. She’s not talking to her parents right now,’ a source told Us Weekly. ‘Olivia hasn’t been out with friends. She is completely in hiding right now.’

Loughlin, 54, and her husband Mossimo Giannulli, 55, are believed to be getting the silent treatment from their daughter. Loughlin was also pictured for the first time this week.

The couple appeared tense as they were seen out and about in Orange County visiting friends and family.

A downcast Loughlin, who was released on a $1million bond on March 13, was seen biting her fingernails while sitting on a wall as she spoke with fashion designer Mossimo.

At one point a shirted Mossimo, 55, sat down opposite his actress wife, who was wearing sunglasses, pale jeans, a cardigan and Golden Goose sneakers, worth around $500, as they continued their conversation.

Although Olivia and Jackson, 23, have managed to keep their relationship somewhat private, he slyly shared a photo of his lady love on his Instagram page last month.

Jackson posted a picture of himself holding a puppy followed by a close-up snapshot of Olivia with the pet, writing: ‘bb’s.’

A few weeks before, a photo of them kissing appeared on an Instagram account featuring her friends Anastasia Karanikolaou and Kelsey Calemine.

An insider told Us Weekly that Olivia has returned to social media, but she is only sharing videos and images with her friends.

‘Olivia is posting private Stories on her Instagram, using the only-close-friends option, to share her days on social media with her close circle,’ the source said.

Earlier this week, the outlet reported that Olivia’s close friends are ‘encouraging her to forgive’ her parents because they never meant to hurt her.

They are both scheduled to appear in federal court in Boston next month in the college admissions bribery case after a judge agreed to move their initial appearance to April 3.

They face charges that they paid $500,000 in bribes to get their daughters into the University of Southern California.

‘A lot of Olivia’s friends have been telling her not to be mad at her parents since they were just trying to do the best they could for her, but she doesn’t listen,’ the source said. ‘Olivia feels she is the victim.’

Both Loughlin and Giannulli had to each post a $1 million bond and put their Bel Air home up as collateral after they were charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud earlier this month.

Prior to the scandal, Olivia was believed to be incredibly close with her parents, particularly her actress mother, who appeared in several YouTube videos that were posted to her daughter’s channel.

However, it is thought that the fallout from the scandal has soured that relationship, at least for the moment.

Sources say Olivia had begged her parents to let her focus on her career as a YouTube vlogger and Instagram influencer, but they pushed her to go to school.

Now, after being dropped by major brands, including Sephora and TRESemme, Olivia believes ‘they have ruined everything.’

Olivia is also facing the loss of her trademark applications for her makeup brand; however, that actually has nothing to do with the nationwide college admissions cheating scandal.

Documents from the US Patent & Trademark Office reveal that her applications for ‘makeup kits’ with ‘moisturizer’ and ‘concealer’ were too broad.

Officials from the office said Olivia’s applications needed to be more specific, also pointing out that they didn’t use ‘proper punctuation.’

‘Proper punctuation in identifications is necessary to delineate explicitly each product or service within a list and to avoid ambiguity,’ state the documents, which were obtained by The Blast.

‘Commas, semicolons, and apostrophes are the only punctuation that should be used.’

While Olivia can correct her filings for ‘Olivia Jade’ and ‘Olivia Jade Beauty’ and turn them in again, she has already been warned once about improper content.

Officials informed the YouTube star that her entire application will be thrown out if she doesn’t send in her new application in a timely manner.

Olivia was warned about her trademark applications just days after her parents were arrested in the college admissions scandal.

Perry Viscounty, the attorney currently handling Loughlin and Giannulli’s cases, also handled Olivia’s trademark applications.

‘Bella and Olivia are suffering in their own ways from the fallout of their parents’ decisions,’ a source told Entertainment Tonight last week.

While Bella was ‘far more invested in college and would have loved to have completed USC,’ Olivia is devastated over the damage that has been done to her brand.

‘[Olivia] is really angry with her parents because she told them she did not want to go to college and she was pushed,’ the source added.

‘She has been passionate about her career and wanted to work and was doing well, but that wasn’t enough. Her parents said she would have to juggle college and her career.’

‘Now she’s devastated because everything she built imploded before her eyes. She feels they ruined everything.’

The source said that Olivia is so embarrassed by the scandal that she ‘doesn’t even want to go out.’

‘Bella and Olivia have a very tight-knit group of friends who have been there to support them,’ they continued. ‘They’ve needed that support because they’re being attacked at every turn.’

Since the scandal came to light, a number of Olivia’s past YouTube videos have resurfaced.

In one video filmed on her last day of high school, Olivia admitted that she rarely attended classes.

‘I’m, like, excited to go prank my, like, do the school prank, but I’m also literally never at school that I think my class doesn’t even — and maybe they forget I go there!’ the teen said, before claiming she was ‘just kidding!’

Olivia also previously came under fire for admitting in her vlogs that she didn’t really care about college ‘but wanted to experience game days and partying.’

And, in a podcast interview, Olivia revealed that she hadn’t initially wanted to go to college but that her parents ‘really wanted me to go.’

Court documents released last week also alleged that Olivia hadn’t even written her own college applications.

Loughlin and Gianulli emailed William Rick Singer, the mastermind behind the college bribery scandal, about Olivia and Isabella’s college prospects in 2016.

They allegedly paid $500,000 total in bribes to have their daughters admitted to USC as crew recruits with the help of Singer and USC senior associate athletic director Dr. Donna Heinel.

Isabella received her admission letter the following March. The same exact process was then repeated with Olivia, documents claim.

Problems arose, however, when Olivia’s guidance counselor became curious as to how she managed to receive admission based on her involvement in crew when she didn’t even row.

At the same time, Loughlin complained that her daughter was having difficulty filling out her other college applications, prompting Singer to ask an employee to take care of the task.

This was done so as not to draw attention to the fact that it was already confirmed Olivia had received conditional admission to USC.

On November 2017, Singer emailed Loughlin and Giannulli with an email bearing the subject line ‘CONGRATULATIONS.’  Attached was Olivia’s conditional acceptance letter to USC.

‘This is wonderful news,’ Loughlin responded, adding a high-five emoji.

It’s been reported that Olivia and Bella won’t return to USC amid fears of bullying from their fellow students, but they are both still technically enrolled at the school.

The fallout has been swift for Loughlin as well.

The actress was dropped from the final season of Fuller House, where she had reprised her role as Aunt Becky, as well as from the Hallmark Channel.

The former Full House star had been among the channel’s so-called ‘Christmas Queens,’ starring in a slew of Hallmark’s popular holiday movies.

Loughlin also starred in the ongoing Garage Sale Mystery films, as well as the Hallmark Channel’s original series When Calls The Heart.
