They’re fighting for a place on Love Island after being left single in the last explosive recoupling.
And Chuggs and Brad were sure to lay it on thick and try to impress new girl Rachel ahead of her big decision on who to couple up with, which is set to air on Sunday.
Rachel, 29, entered the villa on Friday and was told she had just 24 hours to get to know both boys – with one hunk set to be dumped from the island.
Decision time: Love Island’s two single boys Chuggs and Brad tried their best to impress new girl Rachel (pictured) ahead of her picking which hunk to couple up with on Sunday’s episode
After the beauty’s arrival was announced, Brad didn’t seem to worried about his fate and said in the Beach Hut: ‘Me and Chuggs are in the bottom two. I’m going to stay true to myself and I’ll back myself. May the best man win – I hope it’s me!’
Reflecting on her arrival in the Beach Hut, newcomer Rachel said: ‘Everyone has been so friendly. I still can’t believe I am here!’
Elsewhere, the girls were keen to know what Rachel is looking for in a man. Kaz asked Rachel: ‘With the guys here, who has caught your eye?’
Keeping her cards close to her chest, Rachel teased: ‘That would be telling.’
Who will it be? Whoever is not picked by Rachel will be dumped from the island (left, Brad and right, Chuggs)
And keen to secure his place, Chuggs wasted no time in asking Rachel for a chat. He told the luxury travel specialist: ‘You’re super confident – I like it. You’re feisty!’
Rachel replied: ‘I am. Why not be confident? What is the worst that can happen?’
Rachel then asked Chuggs: ‘I’m just going to put it out there. Do you find me attractive or are you only grafting to keep yourself safe?’
Later, Brad was also seen making some moves on the new girl in the vill and pulling Rachel for a chat.
Rachel asked the hunk: ‘So, what is your type?’
Getting to know him: Rachel and Brad seemed to be getting along well as they sat by the pool
Pulling her for a chat: Brad told the beauty that she’s his type during one of their talks
Suggesting Rachel is his type, Brad told her: ‘That’s why I started laughing when I saw Jake looking at me. Jake said “I couldn’t even see her and I could tell she was your type because of your reaction”.’
Impressed, Rachel said: ‘I love that.’
The next day, Brad and Chuggs continue on their mission to get to know Rachel.
Speaking with Rachel, Chuggs said: ‘You seem like you’ve settled in well. You’ve got a really nice calm demeanor about you.’
Rachel told him: ‘There is no person that I don’t get along with. I knew I was going to come in here and get along with everyone.’
Keen: Chuggs said he could ‘definitely see myself getting on with her so well’ (pictured talking on the day beds)
Speaking in the Beach Hut about Chuggs, Rachel wasn’t sounding overly confident ahead of her decision and revealed: ‘I feel like I haven’t even scratched the surface. I don’t know anything about him. I want to get to know Chuggs.’
However also speaking in the Beach Hut about Rachel, Chuggs declared: ‘She’s got this energetic strike in her. She hits you with this electricity. I can definitely see myself getting on with her so well.’
With just 24 hours to make her decision – and the meeting at the fire pit looming – Rachel detailed her troubles over picking which hunk to get to know better.
‘It was an alright kiss considering the situation we’re in!’ Rachel shared a slimey snog with both Brad and Chuggs after the hectic task set to air on Sunday’s show
Challenge: The villa’s latest islander Rachel was lucky enough to be rescued twice by the single boys Brad and Chuggs (pictured) who are fighting for her attention ahead of an eviction
She said: ‘This has not been easy in the slightest. I think you’re both amazing guys in every single way. I can’t fault either of you for absolutely anything.’
Helping her in her decisions, Sunday’s episode is also set to see the Islander’s play a Undercover Lover challenge where the boys rescue the girls from a dastardly villain.
Rachel was lucky enough to be rescued twice by the single boys Brad and Chuggs.
The rest of the islanders whooped and cheered in their bikinis and green gunge as Rachel kissed both of the boys at the end of the challenge.
Of kissing Brad for the first time, Rachel said: ‘It was an alright kiss considering the situation we’re in! It was definitely 00 heaven for me because I had double the pleasure and double the happiness’.
Lucky girl: Rachel described the challenge as ’00 heaven’ after she got to be rescued by both the single boys
Ahead of her entry to the villa, Londoner Rachel revealed what she’s looking for in a man.
She explained: ‘I love the way modern relationships are. I don’t need a man for anything. I can buy my own home and take care of myself.
‘I just love knowing I have another person there that I’m going through life with.’
When describing how she thinks her loved ones see her, she said: ‘Very, very independent. I don’t rely on anyone for anything. I’m very caring and spontaneous and creative.’
