Love Island Australia is back! Channel Nine confirms a new season is on the way as casting begins

Channel Nine has confirmed there will be a fifth season of Love Island Australia.

The dating show’s official Instagram account announced the news on Tuesday in a post encouraging young singletons to apply to be contestants.

‘Are you ready for some fun in the sun? Head to 9Now.com.au/LoveIsland and apply for the time of your life!’ the post read.

Several of the show’s past Islanders flocked to the comments section to encourage people to apply.

‘It’s the best thing of your life, guys. Do it,’ wrote 2022 star Phoebe Spiller.

But the road to love was not easy for Austen, 23, and Claudia, 24, who faced challenges and drama along the way.

‘To win is amazing, but also to find a one in a million person like Austen is just incredible,’ Adelaide-based Claudia said in a statement.

‘I feel so lucky and I couldn’t have asked to find someone better. He is everything I’ve ever wanted in someone and more.’

Sydney-based Austen said: ‘To win means so much to both myself and Claudia.’

‘I didn’t go into Love Island Australia expecting I would come out finding someone like Claudia, there is no one like her.

‘We have such an incredible connection and our future together is so bright.’
