Love Island SPOILER: ‘I found love in you!’ Kaz comforts Liberty after she reveals split from Jake

Liberty Poole shocked viewers when she ended her relationship with Jake Cornish on Thursday. 

And in a new trailer for Friday’s episode of Love Island Kaz Kamwi sweetly comforts Liberty after the blonde beauty revealed that she has split from Jake.

Kaz tells her: ‘I found love in you!’ as she reassures her that her time in the villa has not been unsuccessful despite the romance ending.

Sitting down together, Liberty tells Kaz: ‘I broke up with Jake earlier,’ which is met with an audible gasp.

Putting an arm around Liberty, Kaz tells her: ‘You are literally one of the strongest most beautiful, emotionally intelligent people I’ve ever met in my life. 

‘You may not have felt like you found love in Jake but I found love in you.’ 

‘Thanks, babe,’ gushes Liberty as she fights back tears.

Jake and Liberty have been coupled up since the first episode of this year’s Love Island, however have had their fair share of troubles in recent weeks.  

Cracks in their relationship started to show after Liberty discovered Jake wasn’t sexually attracted to her when they first met, causing her to feel insecure.

Jake’s intentions were questioned by many of the female cast after footage of him attempting to convince the boys to betray their partners in Casa Amor was aired.

Troubles: Jake and Liberty have been coupled up since the first episode of this year’s Love Island, however have had their fair share of troubles in recent weeks

He asked Liberty to be his girlfriend midway through the series, giving her a magnetic bracelet as a promise of his affections, which she has since removed. 

The girls also voiced their concerns about Jake’s feelings for Liberty after the water engineer professed his love to the Nando’s waitress. 

Toby then told Jake that people were thinking his ‘I love you’ revelation was a ‘cop out’ to avoid the rocky week he and Liberty had just faced, leading to Jake walking out of the villa.
