Love Island villa is ‘put under quarantine after crew members are struck down by violent vomiting bug’

Love Island kicked off on Sunday night, and has been entertaining viewers every night since.

But it seems like trouble may be coming the contestants way, as it has been reported that they are under quarantine to avoid contracting a ‘violent vomiting bug.’

According to a report from The Sun on Wednesday, the crew members who were hit by the sickness have had to stay ‘within seconds of a toilet’ as a result.

A source speaking to the publication explained: ‘If the virus reaches the contestants then it could bring the show to a halt for three or four days.

‘Nobody is going to watch them throwing up or having the s****.’

The publication claimed that those who have become sick have been instructed to stay in their hotel rooms for the time being, while those working at the villa are forbidden from shaking hands or kissing.
