Love Island’s Cara De La Hoyde enjoys Portuguese getaway with beau Nathan Massey and son Freddie

She has transformed from reality TV star to a doting mother.  

And Cara De La Hoyde, 27, was seen enjoying a sun-soaked holiday to Portugal with her eight-month-old son Freddie and boyfriend Nathan Massey, 26, on Friday.

The former Love Island stars looked absolutely smitten as they packed on the PDA while sweetly fussing over the tot – who was born in December of last year.

Cara showed off her sensational figure months after giving birth in a perilously plunging swimsuit. 

The number sported a pink panel down the middle – putting emphasis on her midriff before flaring out over her hips. 

The peplum style number also put focus on her huge inking on her right thigh. 

She swooped her long brunette tresses into a low centre-parted ponytail and opted for a subtle slick of make-up.

Cara couldn’t wipe the smile from her face as she frolicked in the ocean with her other half. 

The pair were joined by their sweet newborn Freddie, who looked absolutely adorable in a white hat. 

Opting for a pair of bright blue shorts, Nathan went shirtless for the beachy excursion.

Portugal has a special place in Cara’s heart as the pair visited the sun-drenched country last year while the star was still pregnant with Freddie.

Cara shared a throwback picture of her blossoming baby bump alongside beau Nathan and captioned the snap: ‘Back to Portugal tomorrow. Last time we where there Fred was in my belly & now we are a little family.’

Their adorable family outing comes after Cara revealed she only found out about her pregnancy after attending a check-up on cancerous cells found in her cervix.

Speaking to OK!’s Celebrity Secrets Magazine, the new mum recalled how a routine pregnancy test before getting her cancerous cells removed gave her quite the surprise.

Cara divulged: ‘I’d gone to an appointment with my mum to have some cancerous cells in my cervix lasered, and they did a routine pregnancy test beforehand.

‘All of a sudden the woman came back in the room saying, ‘congratulations!’ — and my mum and I looked at each other in disbelief!’

 

Treatment for cancerous cells can’t go ahead during pregnancy, but luckily Cara has since had her cells removed.

Cara reassured her fans adding: ‘They monitored me throughout those nine months, and when I went back after having Fred the cells were gone.’

Cara was also recently forced to hit back at cruel trolls who claimed she looked ‘pregnant’ in a photo she shared on Instagram.

In the social media photo, she showed off her figure and new fringe in an off the shoulder black and white spotted dress with ruffles on the front.

 

Yet despite looking incredible, some cruel trolls and followers accused her of being ‘pregnant’ and having a ‘bump’, to which Cara hit back at on her stories.

Posting a statement, she said: ‘Thanks to all the women that have commented I’m pregnant in my latest pic [sad emoji].

‘I’m not I’m trying to loose weight, but thanks for making me feel like [poo emoji]. Hope you all have a great bank holiday [thumbs up emoji].’ (sic)

She added: ‘And then you’re surprised when people have depression, anxiety and eating disorders [thumbs down emoji].’ (sic)
