Love Island’s Faye Winter hits back at skinny-shaming trolls as she poses in a swimsuit

Faye Winter hit back at skinny-shaming trolls as she showed off her physique in a sparkly purple swimsuit on Sunday. 

The Love Island star, 27, who recently split from Teddy Soares, 28, posed for Instagram snaps in the pool at the luxury Londoner Hotel. 

The reality TV personality put on a leggy display as she slipped into a purple sparkly one-piece and shared a powerful message about body positivity. 

Faye wrote: ‘They’ll say I’m too skinny, they’ll say I’m too loud, they’ll say my appearance has changed but I’ll say I’m me and I’m proud of myself for never changing my soul.’

She straightened her blonde tresses and pulled them back into a high ponytail while taking a dip.

Faye opted for full-glam make-up with black eyeliner, pink eyeshadow and a pink lip to match the swimsuit. 

The Love Island star’s ode to self-love comes in the wake of her split from Teddy Soares last month. 

The couple competed in the 2021 series of Love Island, finishing in third place on the show after coupling up on day 14. 

On Friday Faye spoke out for the first time since the break-up, telling The Sun: ‘It’s hard because I went into Love Island to purely find someone and I said anything on top of that was an added bonus.

‘I’ve never been in a situation where I’ve been in relationship in the public eye and I’ve had to go through a break-up in the public eye.’

Faye added: ‘So obviously it’s been hard and everything that’s been hard in my life post-Love Island, I’ve always had Teddy there to help me deal with it and visa versa, I’ve always helped him.’

She explained that she would ‘try and make it work’ in her hometown of Devon as it was her ‘happy place’ but would be moving into a new house. 

On Thursday, Faye made a dig at her ex-boyfriend Teddy as she cleaned their whole house alone, ahead of them both vacating the property.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the former Love Island star shared a photograph of herself with her hand under her chin, and detailed her exhausting day. 

Faye wrote: ‘Today sucked! Emptying the kitchen and cleaning the whole house to find a freezer defrosted not sure when ago. The smell I tell you the smelt like a washed up whale.

‘Sick of doing it now! Anyone would think it’s just me moving out!’ 

Last month, Faye and Teddy announced their split after a year-and-a-half of dating amid speculation that the pair had parted ways.

Faye shared a picture of her and Teddy’s pet dog Bonnie and wrote: ‘I wanted to let you know that after lots of time and consideration, Teddy and I have decided to go our separate ways.

She added: ‘Thank you all so much for supporting our relationship and sharing the journey with us. I’m forever grateful.’
