Love Island’s Gabby Allen flashes her abs on date with Marcel

She recently discussed the horrific racial abuse she faces due to her romance with boyfriend Marcel Somerville.

And Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville were moving on from the drama when they stepped out in style at the Brain Bop Charity Ball, held at the Lansdowne Club in Mayfair on Thursday night.

The Love Island couple packed on the PDA when they left the venue, looking just as smitten as they did when they first met on the reality show last summer.

Having soared to fame on Love Island last year, Gabby has stayed in the spotlight after finding love with Marcel and previously revealed she had been branded ‘dirty’ among other cruel slurs in their relationship.

Remaining candid over the issues at hand, she has discussed the horrendous abuse she faces and admits she suffers more than her boyfriend.

She told MailOnline: ‘When I first came out, I was so overwhelmed because I didn’t think people in this day and age still thought like that people said I was naive but I’ve always been in a multicultural society so I haven’t ever been in that position before.

‘This is why I spoke out about it and since then it did die down a lot but things do happen every now and then so if it’s bad enough I do call people out on it…

Gabby was clearly traumatised by one incident as she explained: ‘Some idiot sent me some very inappropriate pictures about race and stuff and I just thought you’re someone’s son and someone’s boyfriend and you should be so embarrassed…

‘If you take time out to try and hurt me and to try and put that out there then there’s something wrong with you. If it’s that bad I can’t ignore it. The worst thing (that’s been said) is that you’re the genocide of your own race…

‘I can’t believe people think like that. Like, where do you live? What do you think when you see ethnic people, do you know what I mean? Marcel is so laid back he just hates that i have to deal with it. I get it more than he does. A lot of black people give me s**t and I’m just like no!’

While Gabby was in the Love Island villa, she cried to Marcel about her figure, as she insisted she wished she had big boobs like the other girls – a stance she maintains.

Struggles: On her boob job: 'I 100% still want a boob job. It still stands that i want a boob job. I've been looking for dates this year to get it done but I'm too busy'

Struggles: On her boob job: ‘I 100% still want a boob job. It still stands that i want a boob job. I’ve been looking for dates this year to get it done but I’m too busy’

She said: ‘I struggle with body image but then I was a dancer. It’s always been I have to look a certain way and if you don’t look as good as the person next to you you’ll starve yourself for a week. I’ve got better now but it is hard when you see a dodgy shot with a double chin or a bingo wing its not ideal…

On her boob job: ‘I 100% still want a boob job. It still stands that i want a boob job. I’ve been looking for dates this year to get it done but i’m too busy which is making me think is this a sign.

‘I’m on the fence – I want it done on one hand I feel it will make me confident and it will make me feel better but on the other hand I feel I have an obligation to the women and young girls out there i would never want anyone to feel you have to get it done but then I’m doing it for myself and i would love to have it. If i got it done and hated it I’d be screwed wouldn’t I.

Support: It was clear to see why she feels so strongly about Shelter, as Gabby said: 'There's 300,000 homeless in the UK and when I found out I was shocked'

On Marcel’s feelings on the boob job, she said: ‘Marcel knows that i feel fine when we’re at home but when we’re on holiday or something I don’t have a lot of confidence and he’s for whatever I want to do.

‘If I wanted a butt lift he’d support it he just said if it makes me feel good. He always says its your life you shouldn’t feel an obligation to other people. It’s your life they’re not going to feel the benefits are they?’

It was clear to see why she feels so strongly about Shelter, as Gabby said: ‘There’s 300,000 homeless in the UK and when I found out I was shocked and obviously we see a lot but you don’t realise the full extent.

‘When there was the cold weather you really see it. There was a man I kept seeing in Oxford Circus and he was so cold it was breaking my heart. I rang my friends and said we have a mission and I thought if i can do anything to raise awareness and raise funds for more facilities and that’s what shelter do.

Speaking about Thursday’s challenge, she said: ‘To be honest I feel great. Like I got fastest female – 8 mins 30 something which was amazing!

‘I think I was relying on my fitness levels to get me through but as we were approaching the end I was thinking shit maybe i should have prepared more. I just kept going and it was so worth it and i kept going on adrenaline massively.’

She said after the challenge: ‘Racing up a sky-scraper is no walk in the park, but being rewarded with such a unique view of London at the top made it absolutely worth the hike.

‘I’m really passionate about helping end homelessness, so it’s great to know that completing this epic challenge will raise money to support Shelter’s fantastic work.’
