Love Island’s George Fensom broke his silence on his Instagram Stories on Saturday after being dumped from the villa.
The business development executive, 24, was the first person of the series to be dumped from the villa on Friday night’s episode.
‘Shout out everyone sending me nice messages, kind support and that, do appreciate it,’ he said as he filmed himself in the back of a taxi.
‘Left the villa too soon, but do you know what I was obviously too leng,’ George added in reference to his brief stint on the show.
‘But yeah obviously appreciate all the support, thank you for all the messages and yeah just give me a couple of days just to sort my bits out and I will get replying and we will talk about plans moving forward. Bosh.’
Axed: Love Island’s George Fensom broke his silence on his Instagram Stories on Saturday after being dumped from the villa
First eviction: The business development executive, 24, was the first person of the series to be dumped from the villa on Friday night’s episode
The former Love Islander donned a zipped t-shirt and sported a pair of black oversized shades as he appeared to be landed back in the UK after the villa axe.
George and fellow contestant Mehdi Edno, 26, were the last two men standing, with bombshell Whitney Adebayo choosing the couple-up with model Mehdi.
She said in the Beach Hut afterwards: ‘It is hard but we all knew that somebody had to go.’
Speaking in the bedroom as he packed his belongings before his exit, George told his fellow Islanders: ‘One of us was going to anyway. It’s one of them situations where it was unfortunately me. I won’t forget any of you!’
He said after leaving the villa: ‘It’s not how I wanted my experience to end. I just wanted to continue dropping loose game.
‘I’m sure there will be somebody out there for me but obviously it wasn’t in the villa.’
Meanwhile, his show partner Jess Harding said: ‘We started as a couple together so I’ll always have that little soft spot for him… he just lit up every room and I genuinely hope he does find someone.’
In a separate exit interview, George added: ‘I’ve had an absolute blast, dropping loose game and making everyone laugh.
Grateful: ‘Shout out everyone sending me nice messages, kind support and that, do appreciate it,’ he said as he filmed himself in the back of a taxi
Speaking his mind: ‘Left the villa too soon, but do you know what I was obviously too leng,’ George added as he hinted his exit from the ITV’s happened too soon
‘The experiences I’ve had, the people I’ve met and the lifelong friendships that I’ve formed have made my villa experience very worthwhile.
‘I wish everyone in there the best villa experience and I can’t wait to see them all on the outside.’
On the public voting for him to be couple-up with Jess, he said: ‘Jess is an absolutely lovely girl but it felt more like a friendship.
‘Jess and I were always cracking banter and having the best time. I just don’t think there was anything there romantically, but that’s completely fair enough.
‘If it was up to me to choose on day one, I would’ve definitely gone for Molly, she’s such a good-looking girl.’
However, George will be keeping his options open as he took a shining to bombshell Whitney, admitted he’d like to get to know her more after the series ends.
He said: ‘I had a conversation with Whitney, she’s a really bubbly, energetic person that just fills the room with laughter.
‘If I had a few more days you never know what could have happened!’

The Molly Show? Love Island viewers were infuriated during Friday’s episode of the show as they decided Molly Marsh was getting too much screen time
Once again viewers didn’t hold back from having their say on the latest episode, with many complaining Mitchel has fallen far too fast for Molly after less than a week on the show.
Viewers were infuriated during Friday’s episode as they decided Molly was getting too much screen time.
The Islander was seen in tears after her series partner Mitchel, 26, cooled things off with the actress.
Bombshell Sammy Root, 22, came clean to Mitchel, saying he’d like to get to know the beauty, having taken her on a date the previous day at the hideaway.
And, after Molly kept her options open, Mitchel decided to take a step back, leaving her seeking comfort from her fellow Islanders after bursting into tears.
However, the saga was not impressing fans, with many taking to Twitter to say they wanted to see more of the other villa residents.
Someone wrote: ‘I’m seeing everyone pop up randomly like oh yeah I forgot they’re in the house. Can they show us someone else other than Molly.’
While someone else posted: ‘Ok like enough of the Molly show, whats going on with Ruchee and Andre cause.’
Another viewer posted: ‘Nah surely sum is going on between Andre and Ruchee give them more SCREEN TIME this is not the Molly show omds.’
‘Can we move on from the Molly show now,’ asked another show fan, while someone else wrote: ‘Nah I’m giving #LoveIsland one more week before I reclaim my 9pm back. Im not tuning in for the Molly show.’
One other person remarked: ‘Is this a Molly Show??? I am fed up with this storyline of forcing Molly inside my throat and eyes!’
While another person commented: ‘This Molly situation isn’t deep enough for it to have taken up 20mins of the show.’
Someone else tweeted: ‘It’s been almost 30min and all i have seen on my screen is molly. Bro show me Catherine or Ruchee.’
Telling Mitchel he would like to get to know his partner Molly, newcomer Sammy said: ‘I can’t lie, Molly was my favourite. I want to get to know her. At the end of the day, she said to me she was open to getting to know other people as well.’
Taking the hit on the chin, Mitchel conceded to his now-love rival: ‘Do your thing, get to know the girls. Let the best man win.’
While Sammy looked set to seek love with the stunner, it transpired later in the episode that they may have met previously, when she says during a chat: ‘You either remind me of someone or I’ve met you and I don’t know how.’
Having seen her kiss Zachariah and debate getting close to Sammy, Mitchel decided to pull Molly for a chat saying: ‘I don’t want to give you the energy I think you deserve, when you’re not going to give me any reciprocation back…
‘I’d rather let you do your thing. No one compares to you right now. I’m still gonna adore you, I still think you’re great…I don’t wanna cuddle and all that stuff anymore, I wanna sit back and I want you to explore your options.’
Later that evening, Molly sat down with Sammy to reveal her possible familiarity, saying: ‘You either remind me of someone or I’ve met you and I don’t know how.’
Step back: Molly had remained Love Island’s hottest star with multiple Islanders vying for her affections until Friday
He looks excited! After seeing Mitchel’s reaction to Molly’s head being turned, many fans claimed he seems too keen, given he’s known for less than a week
Sammy responded: ‘You’ve definitely been thinking about this all night! I hope it’s a good thing”, to which she said: ‘It is a good thing because I feel like I know you’. He teased: ‘Maybe we met in a past life, when you were a seagull and I was a chip!’

Another viewer posted a meme of a man shaking with his water bottle and said: ‘Mitchel saying he’s not nervous.’
