Love Island’s Liberty Poole and Kaz Kamwi have spoken out after they were both threatened and held at knifepoint during their Los Angeles holiday this week.
The reality TV stars were left terrified when a 40-year-old woman targeted them as they headed to a party on Thursday night, prompting two men to jump to their defence and apprehend the attacker while passersby called the police.
And the television personalities took to Liberty’s Instagram Stories on Sunday to thank their followers for their kind words of support, with Kaz, 27, saying: ‘We just wanted to jump on really quickly and say thank you for all the messages we have received.

‘We’re leaving LA now, our cab’s downstairs to go to the airport.’
Liberty, 22, interjected: ‘Obviously it was a scary incident that happened Thursday but we didn’t want it to affect the rest of our holiday so we’ve just been continuing on as normal and living our best lives.
‘Obviously it’s horrible that, that happened but we’re all OK and that is the main thing, that we’re safe.’

Kaz added: ‘We just wanted to say thank you.’
The incident was understood to have occurred when pals Liberty and Kaz got out of their car in the ‘wrong part of the neighbourhood’.
‘Out of the blue, this woman appeared with a knife and threatened them,’ a source told The Sun.

‘Liberty and Kaz were obviously shocked and terrified — especially because guns are legal in the US.
‘But fortunately for them, two men who had been walking past came to their rescue and called the police.’

The pair jetted off to LA last month and have been documenting their trip as they enjoyed the sunshine, sightseeing and the music festival Coachella.
They shared snaps of them posing in front of the iconic Hollywood sign earlier this week along with Kaz’s sister Banji.
And the friends appeared to have put Thursday’s scary incident behind them as they enjoyed a night out the following day.

Kaz shared fun-filled snaps from their night out, and she looked sensational in a lilac lace corset style dress.
The reality star posed up a storm for her Instagram followers as she turned to the side revealing her peachy behind as well as triangle cut out detailing.
Kaz looked stunning in the eye-catching outfit which boasted sheer sleeves and ruching detailing down the back.
The beauty styled her dark tresses in a centre parting in loose waves which cascaded down her back.

Kaz completed the look by adding some height to her frame in a towering pair of lace up heels.

The reality star donned a mint green silk halterneck top that barely contained her ample assets.
She teamed it with a pair of white shorts which she wore unbuttoned to show off her toned stomach and abs.

The third day outfit comes after Kaz flaunted her figure in a sexy festival-inspired crop top and mini skirt co-ord on the Saturday.
