Love Island’s Phoebe Thompson reveals painful injury after running ‘with massive boobs’

Love Island Australia star Phoebe Thompson reveals painful injury caused by running ‘every day with massive boobs’ during lockdown

Love Island star Phoebe Thompson has candidly shared pictures of a painful injury she says emerged after exercising ‘with massive boobs’ mid-lockdown.

On Thursday, the 30-year-old shared a picture of the underneath of her breast on Instagram, which appeared red and sore as she pulled up her sports bra.

She explained the injury had surfaced because she is running every day as part of a 30-day fitness challenge, after many questioned whether the mark was from having a breast enhancement.

‘People are messaging me like, “oh my God you got your boobs done, is that your augmentation scar?”‘ the Sydney-based influencer said.

‘Guys, it’s from running every day. Having really massive boobs and the weight and the friction on the sports bra is creating bruises and grazes underneath the breasts.’

She continued: ‘I’ve got it on both of my boobs, so if anyone has any suggestions of how I can minimise that, that would be great as I’ve got three more weeks left of running every day.’

She also shared a picture of her bleeding toe, after running 10km in 58 minutes.

Last year, Phoebe revealed the many downsides to having ‘big boobs’ in a candid Instagram post.

The brunette glamazon listed the undesirable consequences of being well-endowed – including rude jokes, back pain and being perceived as ‘easy’ – during an Instagram Q&A session.

The credit analyst said she can’t wear certain tops because of her cup size and even gets weird looks at the beach.

She explained that while she used to love having ‘big boobs’ when she was younger, she now feels sexually objectified.

‘Now that I’m older and wiser I see that women with large breasts are almost always over sexualised,’ Phoebe said. ‘Some men generally think I’m DTF [down to f**k] because I have big boobs.

‘I can’t wear certain tops because it would be considered inappropriate, my boyfriend’s friends would constantly make jokes about my boobs and people just stare at them when I’m at the beach.’

She added that she gets ‘quite bad back pain’, too.

Phoebe concluded by saying she ‘would love a [breast] reduction if anyone wants to shout me’.

Phoebe rose to fame on season two of Love Island Australia in 2019.

She entered the villa on Day 4, but she was dumped from the island on Day 12.

Despite her brief stint, she made headlines by coupling up with co-star Cassie Lansdell, becoming Love Island’s first same-sex pairing.
