Love Island’s Rebecca Gormley and Biggs Chris have called time on their romance after over a year together.
Model Rebecca, 23, confirmed the end of their relationship in a Q&A with fans on Instagram on Tuesday night, revealing to fans: ‘We have broke up’.
Their split comes just months after Biggs, 29, told how he ‘definitely’ wanted to marry his Love Island co-star girlfriend.

Rebecca broke the sad news after a fan asked: ‘Have you split up with Biggs’ during her social media chat.
Speaking into the camera, she replied: ‘Everyone is asking is this question and the reason why I haven’t told you any sooner is that I wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing.
‘And it is the best thing for us so yeah, we have broke up.’

The couple had previous sparked speculation that they were no longer together as they continued to post Instagram videos without each other.
Biggs recently partied in Ibiza before attending the Love Island finale party in London without Rebecca on Monday.
While Rebecca has remained in her native Newcastle and has been attending events without her Scottish beau.
They were last pictured together in a snap from July 20th as they posed with fellow islanders Luke Mabbott and Lucie Donlan.

Last year Biggs, who met Rebecca in the winter version of Love Island in 2020, told how he’s ready to marry the brunette beauty, but wanted her to propose.
Talking to MailOnline in September, Biggs said he’s more than happy to walk down the aisle with the brunette beauty, but he wants HER to do all the running around.
He explained: ‘I’m waiting for Rebecca to ask me to marry her. I’m waiting for the ring, she got down on one knee yesterday as a joke.’
She replied: ‘You’ll be waiting for a long time cause I’m not getting down on one knee.’

Car repair specialist Biggs, initially had his eye on twin Jess Gale when he entered Casa Amor in Love Island, but hooked up with Rebecca after leaving the hit show.
The couple were also set to move into together as Biggs was reportedly building their ‘dream home’ in his native Glasgow.
He told The Sun in April: ‘We’re still going between each other’s houses, but we’ve started looking at places.
‘Rebecca will be moving in soon – I’m really excited. She’s so close to her mum, but said she would move up to Scotland with me.
Romance: Last year Biggs, who met Rebecca in the winter version of Love Island in 2020, told how he’s ready to marry the brunette beauty, but wanted her to propose.
‘I’m building a home and I’m hoping it’ll be ready later this year. I got a property 18 months ago, it’s been a long process getting planning permission.’
Elsewhere in October, Rebecca was forced to confirm that she wasn’t pregnant with Biggs’ baby.
Addressing the speculation in an Instagram Q&A with fans, she posted a sizzling poolside bikini snap and wrote alongside it: ‘I am not pregnant, not yet but deffo in the future’.
However, the reality star went on to say that she and Biggs have discussed having children in the future.

She added: ‘Me and Biggs speak about our own little family a lot. There is so much we wanna do before having a baba and settling.’
The beauty also told how she’s using contraception to stop her from getting pregnant after a fan pointed out a patch on her leg.
She responded: ‘This question has come up so many times. Evra patch. It’s a form of contraception to help with periods and prevent me from getting pregnant xxx
‘I have used this for years and has always worked for me.’
