Love Island’s Tayla Damir turns up UNINVITED to exclusive luxury event

Tayla Damir has become a fixture on Sydney’s social scene since winning Love Island Australia earlier this year.

But not everyone wants the 22-year-old attending their events, with the beauty queen snubbed an invite to a luxury high tea earlier this week.

However, that didn’t stop Tayla from showing up at the door of the daytime do, leaving organisers scrambling and VIP guests confused as to her identity.

One attendee told Daily Mail Australia that Tayla was ‘graciously’ allowed in to the venue by organisers after talks at the door.

‘Nobody knew who she was but she was strutting around the venue and taking pictures which did seem to upset the organisers,’ the attendee stated.  

‘I think she thought she would get approached by “fans” but after a lot of other guests ignored her she ended up sitting on a table with a friend for an hour or so before leaving.’

The attendee further claims that they overheard ‘organisers saying that Tayla wasn’t ‘on brand’ for the party’ and that another guest thought her outfit wasn’t in tune with the lunchtime event.

Tayla shared a snap on the day of the high tea which showed her wearing a sheer top with beaded embellishments. 

Her bra was visible through the dress, and she flashed some leg in an asymmetrical blue skirt.

The pair were spotted front and centre at Colgate Optic White Stakes Day – an event which they were actually invited to. 

Tayla previously dated fellow reality star Grant Crapp, before they split just weeks after leaving the Love Island villa in Spain.
