Victoria has been voted the ‘sexiest state’ in Australia for 2021 – as the nation’s raunchiest postcodes are revealed.

Adult sex toy brand Lovehoney shared the rankings of the kinkiest postcodes based on the sales data from nearly 2,000 towns and suburbs across the country.

For the second year in a row, Victoria took the lead, with South Melbourne being crowned the sexiest suburb, beating every postcode for the most sales of sex toys – including vibrators, butt plugs, and bondage gear.

While Sydney’s affluent suburb Dover Heights languished at the bottom of the scale.

Queensland’s East Brisbane was named the second sexiest suburb, with a not-so-soft-spot for vibrators – and a love for firefighter costumes to hose down the heat.

In third place, the Sunshine State took home the bronze, with popular costumes like French maids and butler getting hearts racing among Mackay residents.

Interestingly, the top 10 sexiest suburbs only consisted of two states, with Queensland dominating the rankings with six postcodes – including Red Hill, Fortitude Valley, Newstead and Woolloongabba.

While Victoria’s Craigieburn Central, Werribee South and Bundoora West were among the sexiest suburbs named.

Dover Heights was the least sexiest suburb in the country, followed by Western Australia’s Meekatharra, O’Malley in ACT and Port Kembla in New South Wales.

Far north residents found themselves far south of the list, with Northern Territory ranked as the least sexy state and Darwin the bottom of the list for sexiest capital city for the third year running.
