Lucciana Beynon is Photoshopped by a swimwear brand after runway debut

Not pretty enough? The Candyman’s model daughter Lucciana Beynon, 19, is unrecognisable after being heavily Photoshopped by a bikini brand following her runway debut at Miami Swim Week

An American bikini label has been accused of heavily editing photos of its own catwalk models – including Australian stunner Lucciana Beynon.

Lucciana, 19, the daughter of tobacco magnate Travers ‘The Candyman’ Beynon and Venezuelan former beauty queen Ninibeth Leal, made her runway debut for OMG Swimwear at Miami Swim Week in July.

But photos from the event taken by a Getty Images photographer look very different to the images posted by OMG Swimwear on Instagram.

Fans would struggle to recognise the up-and-coming model from the photos shared on social media, as her facial features were significantly altered.

The edited images attracted criticism on Wednesday, after popular Instagram account CelebFace compared the retouched versions posted by OMG Swimwear to the original photos from Getty’s website.

In the edited images, Lucciana has noticeably slimmer features including a smoother jawline and raised eyebrows.

Changes: One of the photos even shows evidence her body shape was edited, with her waistline pinched to appear smaller. Pictured: an edited photo of Lucciana posted to OMG Swimwear's Instagram account

Lucciana also looked more tanned in the edited version, while the natural texture of her skin was smoothed out with an airbrush filter.

Other models from the July 8 runway show also received the same airbrushing treatment from OMG Swimwear’s social media team – including Karina Ramos, Aline Bernardes and Antje Utgaard.

Instagram users slammed the doctored images, calling the brand’s decision to Photoshop these genetically blessed women ‘an insult’.

‘They already looked like an Instagram filter before the editing… it’s like no one is ever good enough. Shame on them’, one wrote.

‘Gave them all the exact same face,’ another added.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted OMG Swimwear for comment.
