Lucie Donlan says she’s finally at her ‘happy weight’ after shedding the two stone she gained during Love Island stint
Lucie Donlan revealed she is now at her ‘happy weight’ after losing the two stone she gained while in the Love Island villa.
The reality star, 21, took to Instagram on Tuesday to detail her weight loss journey over the past two months.
Lucie lost two stone before entering Love Island but found living in the Mallorcan villa led her to pile on the pounds’.

Lucie told her followers: ‘You’re literally sitting around all day. You kind of do put weight on, so I did put a lot of weight on in there.
‘But since leaving I’ve lost two stone. I’m at my happy weight again now, so it’s all good.’
Lucie wasn’t the only one to put on weight during their stint on Love Island, Curtis Pritchard, 23, also gained two stone and later became an ambassador for Weight Watchers.

Lucie – who shrunk from a UK size 12 to 6 after kick-starting her weight loss in 2017 – shared: ‘I’ve put some weight on, I don’t know if anyone has realised.’
The TV personality explained: ‘I’m lucky because I surf, but yeah I’m juggling that with going to the gym. When you’re in the spotlight, you want to look your best, so it has been hard.’
Lucie also confirmed her split from Joe Garratt on Instagram during the Q and A.
Responding to a fan asking about her relationship status during a Q&A on her Instagram Story, she simply replied: ‘Single’.
In December, there were reports the reality TV stars had decided to separate for the second time – four months after rekindling their romance – after ‘growing apart’ from each other.
A source told The Sun at the time: ‘Joe and Lucie have decided to end things between them.

‘They’ve been so busy with work lately that it’s made it difficult for them to find time to see each other. They just grew apart.’
The celebrity duo first got together whilst in the Love Island villa, though their romance was almost derailed by latecomer Tommy Fury, who was also fond of Lucie.
Joe and Lucie split after he left the villa, before rekindling their romance in the outside world.
Lucie recently hinted at their split on social media, while Joe was linked to winner Amber Gill.
The surfer wrote on Instagram: ‘Don’t be surprised how quickly the universe moves once you’ve decided that you want better for yourself.’
