They exited Bachelor In Paradise as a couple with the intention of making their romance last in the real world.
But Lisa Hyde and Luke McLeod’s fairytale ending has become more like a nightmare, with Lisa breaking the news on Monday that the pair had split.
Speaking to News Corp, the brunette beauty explained that the couple called it quits not long after the show, citing a particular incident as the catalyst for their break-up.

‘Since the show, we did date for a few months but we have recently broken up for a certain reason. If a trust is broken within a relationship it’s really hard to go back from that. I want him to be a man and own up to what he did,’ she told the paper.
In an awkward twist of fate, Luke reportedly spoke to the publication separately without realising that Lisa had previously spilled details to News Corp their acrimonious end.
When quizzed on whether he had cheated, Luke told the publication: ‘I’d prefer not to disclose that. I think there are two sides to the story. I take responsibility for my actions.’

Luke described the circumstances of his relationship with Lisa as being ‘weird’ due to the fact that they had to keep their romance a secret until it was revealed on the show.
He also made a point of clarifying that he ‘didn’t date someone else’ but that the trust between himself and Lisa was broken.
‘I didn’t date someone else … I think the best way to explain it … there was trust broken and we’re just trying to move forward …’ he said.

Meanwhile, Lisa took to her Instagram Stories to break the news of her split to fans on Monday, writing: ‘I just wanted to thank everyone for the kind uplifting messages! Unfortunately the rumours are true (sad face emoji).’
She went on to promote her new interview with Now To Love, in which she likens Luke to former Bachelor star Blake Garvey, adding: ‘I hope you can respect that I’m not wanting to go into details as I know Luke is also hurting from his actions.’
