‘Friends forever’: Lydia Bright reunites with her ex James Argent at his sister’s wedding and gushes she’s ‘so happy to have remained so close over the years’
Lydia Bright and James Argent proved they were the friendliest of exes as they reunited for his sister Natasha’s wedding this weekend.
The former TOWIE star, 30, took to Instagram on Sunday to share two new pictures taken at the wedding as she posed with her daughter Loretta, alongside James, 33, and the bride.
Lydia, who famously had an on-off seven year relationship with Arg which was documented on the ITVBe show, gushed she is ‘so happy to have all remained so close over the years’.

Lydia looked stunning as she wore a bright red dress to the wedding, featuring a plunging neckline and cut out sections along her toned midriff.
James, meanwhile, showed off his impressive weight loss after his gastric sleeve surgery in a navy suit and patterned tie.
Lydia’s daughter Loretta, 16 months, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Lee Cronin, looked adorable as she held up a tambourine in the picture while wearing a peach-coloured frock.

Penning a sweet message to the Argent family to go alongside her pictures, Lydia wrote: ‘Natasha and Rob, tie the knot.
‘The Argents, the kindest, warmest most infectious family you will ever meet. So happy that we have all remained so close over the years. Friends forever.’
Earlier this year, Lydia revealed she’s still ‘very good friends’ with her ex James as she shared a snap of him facetiming her Loretta.
The former TOWIE star was taking part in an Instagram Q&A with her followers on Saturday when she revealed the status of her relationship with the singer.
When asked by one fan if herself and Arg ‘still speak’, Lydia confirmed that James was still in her life, five years after their break-up.

Alongside a snap of James grinning at her baby girl, Lydia replied: ‘Yes, we are very good friends.
‘He has always remained best friends with my mum and younger brother Tommy.’
Lydia and James were childhood sweethearts who dated on and off between 2008 and 2016, before Lydia called things off for good after he allegedly relapsed into his cocaine habit.
Their fiery romance played out on screens on TOWIE, with the two briefly uniting for a night of passion on holiday in 2016, only for Lydia to discover he slept with Gemma Collins on the same day.
The star previously proved there was no ill-feeling toward her former flame, as she insisted that all she hopes for him is ‘happy and healthy’.
She told OK! magazine in 2017: ‘All I ever wish for him is to be happy and healthy. It never worked out with us, but he’s not a bad person. He’s got a good heart.
‘I always look back on us and think, I wouldn’t change a thing, because when it was good it was really, really good. I just know that it’s not what I want in the future.’
