M4 smash: Horror crash shuts down ALL city-bound lanes in western Sydney

  • All eastbound lanes on Sydney’s M4 motorway are closed after a horror crash
  • Incident in Glenmore Park, in the city’s west, took place Wednesday morning

All eastbound lanes on Sydney’s M4 motorway are closed after a multi-vehicle crash that has plunged peak-hour traffic into chaos.

The horror smash at Glenmore Park, in the city’s west, took place at about 6am on Wednesday just past the The Northern Road.

Up to seven vehicles were involved, including a truck, a 4WD and a ute, police said.

Authorities have warned peak-hour commuters to stay clear of the area. 

Eastbound motorists are advised to exit at Mulgoa Road and use the Great Western Highway.
