Hollywood darling Anya Taylor-Joy has been spotted for the first time on the set of George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road prequel, Furiosa.
Dressed as her character, Furiosa, the 26-year-old American actress looked worlds away from her usually polished, stylish self while filming in front of a green screen in Sydney’s South on Wednesday.
Swapping her trademark platinum locks for a messy, matted brown hair-do, the star was almost unrecognisable on set.

Anya also wore a green glove, which will be used in post-production to create her character Furiosa’s prosthetic arm.
The star was surrounded by other actors all dressed in post-apocalyptic inspired garb.

The character was originally portrayed by Charlize Theron in the 2015 blockbuster Mad Max: Fury Road.
Before filming, Theron volunteered to shave her head to get into character, although it’s not known whether Anya will follow suit for her appearance.
