MAFS 2023: Harrison and Bronte matched on Hinge before meeting at the altar

Married At First Sight EXCLUSIVE: Proof drama-filled wedding was ‘fake’ as leaked screenshots show Harrison and Bronte matched on Hinge BEFORE meeting at the altar

It’s the show that promises to match complete strangers in a ‘real experiment of love’ – but new evidence suggests Married At First Sight may not be all that it seems.

Bombshell leaked screenshots reveal Harrison Boon and Bronte Schofield knew each other before meeting at the altar during Monday’s season premiere.

The screenshots show the pair matched on Hinge four months before filming began last year, but Bronte had no interest in pursuing Harrison at the time and even complained to a friend he ‘couldn’t take a hint’.

This flies in the face of the show’s claims the participants are ‘complete strangers’, and also suggests Bronte knew Harrison was talking to other women on dating apps in the lead-up to their wedding day.

‘Bronte sent her sister a screenshot of Harrison’s profile and messages alongside the words, “I hate guys that can’t take the hint,” a source told Daily Mail Australia.

‘They were laughing because Harrison was just talking to himself.’

Harrison previously sent Bronte a friend request on Facebook, but she left him pending (as seen here). This evidence flies in the face of the show's claims the participants are 'complete strangers', and also suggests Bronte knew Harrison was talking to other women on dating apps in the lead-up to their wedding day

An on-set source said Bronte brought up the fact they’d previously matched on Hinge on their wedding day, but Harrison told her ‘not to feel special’ because he’d sent messages to ‘hundreds’ of other women.

Another insider said Bronte’s friend Jessica Tomlinson – the same woman who dropped the bombshell on Monday’s episode that Harrison was dating a 21-year-old woman outside the show – had already told Bronte before the wedding about her groom’s secret relationship.

If this is all true, then Bronte put on a Logie-worthy performance for the cameras, as she didn’t give anything away when she saw Harrison waiting for her at the altar.

She also looked genuinely horrified by Jess’s news about Harrison’s secret girlfriend, as if it were completely new information to her.

In a telling clue about the fate of their ‘marriage’, Bronte is yet to accept Harrison’s friend request on Facebook.

Monday’s season premiere saw Bronte’s BFF Jessica pull her aside to let her know Harrison had been dating her friend just days before his TV wedding.

She showed receipts in the form of photos, WhatsApp screenshots and even a picture of an open suitcase, which she said was Harrison’s bag he was packing the day before leaving to film MAFS.

A shocked Bronte replied: ‘You’re lying. If that’s true, that’s my worst nightmare.’
