Called ‘Body Beautiful Transformation’, the program is designed to help people overhaul their lifestyle and become more healthy.

‘Our goal is to help as many of you as humanly possible to achieve your dreams in becoming your best self,’ Alycia explained.

‘I have gone through a massive transformation myself and understand just how hard it is to take that first step, let me hold your hand through this.’

In an inspirational blog post shared last week, Alycia described how tough it was to overcome her own insecurities and change her lifestyle.

‘There was a point in my life at the age of 22 when I reached a weight so large (my doctor said I was obese) that I knew something drastic had to happen,’ she wrote.

Alycia explained that she made a choice to take control and start going to the gym after losing an initial 12kg from diet changes alone.

But the journey wasn’t without its challenges, and Alycia admitted she struggled with attending the gym and feeling as though she didn’t measure up to the fit and toned people around her.

Recalling one particularly difficult experience, she wrote: ‘My anxiety was (at) an all-time high, and after maybe 20 minutes, I couldn’t deal with it any longer and retreated back into the change room.

‘I would be so embarrassed that I was only at the gym for such a short amount of time that I’d pretend I had received an important phone call or similar so I could make a quick exit and the front desk staff wouldn’t judge me.’

With a mission to help turn around the lives of people just like her, Alycia added that her perspective on going to the gym has now completely changed.

‘The biggest change I’ve noticed is in my body language, I stand tall and proud, dripping with sweat and all,’ she wrote, before adding: ‘I couldn’t be happier!’
