Married At First Sight’s Ashley Irwin has offered a rare account of her ‘ex-husband’ Troy Delmege’s friendship with Carly Bowyer BEFORE they started dating.
During a YouTube interview with Davina Rankin on Thursday, the 29-year-old flight attendant admitted that the two couples – herself and Troy, and Carly and Justin Fischer – were particularly close during filming.
She claimed that the reality TV foursome would spend hours drinking and talking in their rooms ‘until two, three in the morning’.

During a fan Q&A with Davina, Ashley said: ‘Troy, Carly, Justin and I hung out all the time.
‘You know, (we’d) sneak into the rooms and have drinks until two, three in the morning. Like, our couples were the closest, I guess.’
Ashley herself did not suggest these late-night drinking sessions sparked a romantic connection between Troy and Carly.

However, the couple’s rapidly developing relationship raises the possibility there was a longer term attraction which may have begun while filming MAFS.
It has been claimed Troy and Carly officially began dating in November.
However they did not debut their relationship to the other MAFS contestants until the reunion dinner party, which was filmed in December.
