MAFS AU: Layton spotted with friends in Bondi without bride Melinda

Where’s Melinda? Married At First Sight’s Layton spotted with friends in Bondi and his bride is nowhere to be seen

Married At First Sight’s Layton Mills was recently spotted having fun in Bondi with his friends, but his bride Melinda Willis was nowhere to be seen.

Despite being deemed the ‘power couple’ of the season by fans, Melinda and Layton  have been displaying many issues as the series nears its end.

Now, photos have emerged of Layton, 35, out on the town in Bondi with his mates.

However, while these photos may suggest that the pair have split, he is still wearing his wedding band.

In the photos, the Biotech CEO is seen laughing with three male friends and two female friends in Bondi.

The MAFS groom wore a black polo t-shirt that showed off his tanned and tatted arms, and white shorts.

On his feet, he opted for a comfortable look as he donned a pair of crisp white Converse.

He spiked up his brown locks with some gel and showed off his pearly white teeth while laughing with his mates.

Before hitting the town, Layton was photographed texting on his phone and smiling as his wedding band was clearly visible on his ring finger.

This comes as the couples relationship took a very rocky turn in recent episodes of MAFS when Layton refused to participate in the partner swap challenge.

While the challenge was designed to test the strength of the couples’ relationships, Layton’s refusal to engage left Melinda feeling vulnerable and alone.

During the emotional commitment ceremony last Sunday, Melinda fought back tears as she shared her disappointment and heartache with the experts and fellow contestants.

‘I came here to be put outside my comfort zone. I signed up to an experiment where I knew I would have to take on tasks out of my control that I didn’t feel too comfortable with at times,’ she said.

Layton then attempted to defend his actions, claiming he was trying to protect Melinda and their relationship, however, they didn’t appear to come to any conclusion.

The fate of their relationship will become clear to viewers as homestay week airs this week and the experiment had just two weeks left.
