Married At First Sight ‘villain’ Bryce Ruthven and ‘wife’ Melissa Rawson are no doubt one of the most controversial couples to come out of the latest season of the show. 

But on Thursday, the pair had no time for naysayers and put all the criticism behind them as they enjoyed a wild night out in Darwin. 

The couple made an appearance at the nightclub, Discovery Darwin, and kissed as they took to the dance floor, even bumping into former Bachelor star, Jarrod Woodgate.

The pair shared videos of their antics on their Instagram stories, keeping followers up-to-date.  

‘Speechless,’ Melissa captioned one video showing hundreds dancing in the crowd. 

Bryce shared pictures of them posing up with Jarrod, watching a man strip off in stage, of him and Melissa dancing to ABBA, and even kissing.

At the end of the night, he and Melissa jumped into a ball pit.

Melissa wore a plunging black top and a flowing skirt, looking dolled up with her long hair out and over her shoulders and a full face of fresh makeup. 

Bryce looked casual in a brown shirt and jeans.

The pair are one of the most controversial couples in the show’s history.  

Bryce and Melissa’s divisive relationship attracted hundreds of negative headlines and prompted a Change.org petition calling for Nine to formally apologise.

Outraged viewers even filed multiple complaints about the show to the media watchdog, singling out radio announcer Bryce, 32, for his problematic behaviour.

Throughout the show, Bryce repeatedly told ‘wife’ Melissa, also 32, that she wasn’t his type because she didn’t have blue eyes.

In addition to getting into a series of altercations with the show’s other participants, Bryce was accused of emotional manipulation and gaslighting. 

This year’s season received four times the usual number of complaints, but despite this no advertisers pulled out.

The Nine program ultimately proved to be Australia’s most-watched program of the year so far, with 1.4 million viewers tuning into the finale.

Part one of their tell-all has dominated the Australian podcast charts.
