MAFS’ Elizabeth Sobinoff appears on the verge of a mental breakdown

‘My mind is going into overdrive!’ MAFS’ Elizabeth Sobinoff appears on the brink of mental breakdown as she performs bizarre cabaret alone in her hotel room after ‘husband’ Sam Ball abandons her

Married At First Sight’s Elizabeth Sobinoff appeared on the brink of mental breakdown on Wednesday night’s episode of the program.

The 27-year-old chowed down on chocolate and paced her hotel room in an erratic fashion, four days after her ‘husband’ Sam Ball dramatically fled the experiment.

Clearly taking his absence personally, Elizabeth performed a bizarre rendition of Celine Dion’s ballad All By Myself before stating: ‘How can someone’s mind not go into overdrive?’

Elizabeth and Sam had been slated to honeymoon in Phuket, Thailand before Sam pulled out at the last minute.

The tradesman, 26, instead flew to New Zealand to attend the funeral of his ex-girlfriend’s mother, leaving Elizabeth high and dry.

‘I haven’t heard from Sam. It’s like day four and I don’t know what’s going on. It’s odd not to hear from him,’ the blonde explained.

‘I want to believe him, but I called yesterday and left a voicemail and nothing. The fact that he’s overseas with his ex-girlfriend is just like the cherry on top. So right now, it feels like I’m in solitary confinement. It’s not pleasant at all’.

Without her ‘husband’ by her side, Elizabeth was forced to attend the first group dinner party on her own.

And it wasn’t long before her concerned co-stars were questioning whether Sam was telling the truth.

Fellow MAFS bride laughed, and said: ‘Was there really a funeral?  He’s a d**k already, I don’t like him! Honey, you can do better!’
