MAFS groom call his busty bride ‘a piece’ and says he loves her ‘cheeky hand tatts’

The new season of Married At First Sight hasn’t been short of drama, and Thursday’s episode was no exception.

Groom Shannon Adams was quick to make an impression for his less-than-romantic remarks about his new bride Caitlin McConville.

At the ceremony, the personal trainer, 30, called his bride ‘a piece’ and expressed his admiration for her ‘cheeky hand tatts’. 

‘First impressions, she is a cracker. She’s good on me eye,’ he told cameras.

‘[She’s got] really big, nice eyes. I liked her eyes without sounding too sleazy, but she’s got a bit of a rig on her too, she’s a piece,’ he continued.

Caitlin’s impressive ink collection, which includes several butterflies on her hands,  caught his eye as the couple exchanged vows.

‘Cheeky tatts on ya,’ Adams remarked as he grabbed her hand.

‘Nice eyes on you,’ Caitlin snapped back, prompting Shannon to turn around to his family and say, ‘She’s alright. She’s cheeky’.

The bride’s heavily tattooed bridesmaids also featured on the show.

Things then took an awkward turn when Shannon suddenly realised the wedding rings were missing from his pocket.

The awkward moment was caught on camera, with the bride looking on in confusion. 

The wedding guests could be seen giggling in their seats as the groom struggled to find the missing piece of jewelry, before Caitlin helped him pick it out of his pocket.
