Married At First Sight’s Hayley Vernon has called out Michael Goonan for trying to deny their kiss by saying he was ‘too drunk’ to remember what happened.
The 32-year-old finance broker told Talking Married that Michael, 28, was just making excuses because he was embarrassed he’d ‘hooked up with a bogan’.
‘Was it cheating? I kissed someone! That’s cheating,’ she said, taking responsibility for her part in MAFS’ latest scandal.

‘Oh, hang on, let me answer it how Michael would,’ she added.
Hayley then mocked the businessman’s evasive attitude at Wednesday night’s dinner party, saying: ‘”Um… so I did flirtatious behaviour and I got a lap dance off Hayley, but if you call that cheating, then I have cheated…”‘
‘Mate, you put your tongue down my throat!’ she exclaimed.
‘Yeah, you put your tongue down my throat. You’re ashamed because you hooked up with a bogan on the show that’s loudmouthed, a little bit offensive…
‘You’re worried about mum and dad’s money. It happened! Own your s**t, Michael.’

During Wednesday’s dinner party, Michael’s ‘wife’, Stacey Hampton, screamed at Hayley after discovering their late-night kiss.
The pair had hooked up in Vanessa Romito and Chris Nicholls’ apartment after a boozy night out in Sydney while Stacey was in Adelaide with her children.
‘You’ve just ruined a relationship. Yes, he’s a d**k head at parties… but you’ve taken advantage of that,’ Stacey said, placing the blame squarely on Hayley, not Michael.
‘You were encouraging vulnerable Michael. We all know he gets drunk,’ she added.

Throughout the dinner party, Michael refused to be held accountable for what happened because he was ‘too drunk to remember’.
He acknowledged that he was acting ‘stupid’ and flirting with Hayley, but insisted he had no recollection of kissing her.
Hayley, who prides herself on being honest regardless of the consequences, told the group they had in fact kissed.
