After undergoing extreme weight loss, it seems romance is back on the agenda for jilted Married At First Sight star Jo McPharlin.  

The mother-of-two, 42, hinted she’s found her prince harming on Wednesday when she shared an Instagram photo of herself looking very svelte ahead of a ‘date night’.   

Showing off her extreme weight loss in a flirty lilac frock, Jo wrote in the caption: ‘@fashionpopboutique certainly knows how to rock date night’.

Jo, who failed to find love on MAFS, was a picture of confidence as she posed with her hands on her hips and a mega-watt smile plastered across her face. 

‘Hope you have found love you deserve,’ one fan commented on the stunning image. 

‘You look gorgeous… hope the date night was a winner!’ another added.

‘I’m just a flat-out mum of two busy kids, working three jobs and now being a lot more organised with my eating,’ she said of her diet.

‘Instead of zipping through drive-thru takeaways after work [each night], I make food that I can freeze to reheat easily when I get home.’

When asked how much weight she had lost, Jo said at the time: ‘I have no idea, I haven’t had scales in my house for over 10 years now.’ 

Discussing her transformation further, she concluded: ‘I just know that all my clothes fit so much better now. I’m still totally me, just a bit thinner.’

In an Instagram video in August last year, Jo explained that cutting out junk food and sugary beverages had helped her shed several dress sizes.

‘All I’ve done different is meal plan,’ she said. ‘I’ve stopped the junk food, I’ve stopped the soft drinks, I’ve stopped the Mother energy drinks.

‘I basically just drink water. I haven’t really gone out that much to have the odd beer or two that I like either.’
