Male model accuses Katy Perry of pulling down his pants to expose him at a birthday party

A male model who worked with Katy Perry on her ‘Teenage Dream’ music video has accused the singer of pulling down his pants and exposing his genitals to a group of people at a mutual friend’s birthday party.

Josh Kloss went public with the allegations against Perry on Sunday, in what he said was the anniversary of working the music video job, in a post shared on Instagram.

The incident, however, is said to have occurred some time later at costume designer Johnny Wujek’s birthday party, some time after Perry split with ex-husband Russell Brand in 2012.

‘I just say this now because our culture is set on proving men of power are perverse. But females with power are just as disgusting,’ Kloss wrote on Instagram on Sunday.

‘So, happy anniversary to one of the most confusing, assaulting, and belittling jobs I’ve ever done. Yay. I was actually gonna play the song and sing it on ukele for the anniversary, but then as I was turning I thought, f**k this, I’m not helping her bs image another second.’

After coming forward, Kloss was questioned as to why he waited so long to speak out, which Kloss said was because he was traumatized at first, and later wanted to wait until it would not be confused as an effort to seek financial gain but felt he needed to make people aware of what he implied was her abuse of power.

Perry’s representation did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.

Kloss wrote in an Instagram story post shared on Sunday, after his initial announcement, about how difficult coming to terms with what he said happened has been for him.

‘To admit that someone violated you in such a f**ked up way, and you didn’t call the cops at that moment was hard to swallow, and it took a lot of time,’ he said.

‘There have been a million times I could have brought it up, but those times would have benefited me financially. At this time there is absolutely no benefit for me, but benefit for many others, who can contemplate power, would they do what she did to me, or would they stay respectful of me and my body.

‘So you believing me is inconsequential to me, it’s more about letting people believe that even a guy like me has felt powerless and been violated, and still courageous to bring it up when it counts, not when it’s lucrative.’

In an Instagram video posted immediately before the statement, Kloss acknowledged how grateful he was to be cast opposite Perry as her love interest in the Teenage Dream music video which came out in 2010, but said he has no loyalty to the singer.

He started the clip quoting comments he’s apparently received since working the job, saying, ‘”Hey, you’re the Teenage Dream boy! You’re so lucky you did that with Katy.”‘

But Kloss quickly added: ‘I am very lucky, I’m blessed. But I’m not her boy. I’m not her boy. She made that very clear. I’m her prostitute. And that’s the point of this.’

In his initial post detailing the allegations shared earlier that day, Kloss said when he first met Perry, the two sang a worship song together, called ‘Open the Eyes of My Heart,’ and that ‘she was cool and kind’ at first.

‘When other people were around she was cold as ice even called the act of kissing me “gross” to the entire set while filming,’ Kloss said, referring to their makeout scenes in Teenage Dream.

‘I saw Katy a couple times after her break up with Russell,’ Kloss said.

He continued: ‘This one time I brought a friend who was dying to meet her. It was Johnny Wujek’s birthday party at moonlight roller way. And when I saw her, we hugged and she was still my crush. But as I turned to introduce my friend, she pulled my Adidas sweats and underwear out as far as she could to show a couple of her guy friends and the crowd around us, my penis.’

Kloss described being utterly humiliated by the alleged experience.

‘Can you imagine how pathetic and embarrassed I felt?’ he asked. ‘So for all her good, she is an amazing leader, hers songs are mainly great empowering anthems.

‘And that is it. I continued to watch her use clips of her music videos for her world tour and then her dvd, only highlighting one of her male co-stars, and it was me.’

Kloss defended the timing of the claim on Sunday, highlighting how he things people would have responded differently if he were a woman making this kind of claim against a man.

Kloss said: ‘If you guys wanna flip the card over and have me be a pop singer who grabs Katy by the *** and exposes her breasts or her vagina to others, and says look at that, and you want her to just, what, tell on me immediately? Or wait a while and then tell on me when she gets enough courage and she stops trying to protect my awesome image because she’s a good person. You figure that one out in your head.’

Kloss said that he made a minimal amount of money and any press he could have generated from appearing in the video was tightly controlled by Perry’s team at the time, which later contributed to his fear of speaking out against her.

‘I made around $650 in total off of Teenage Dream,’ he said. ‘I was lorded over by her reps, about not discussing a single thing about anything regarding Katy publicly. And a couple interviews they edited and answered for me.’

On Monday, Kloss shared what he said were screenshots of email correspondence where his answers to interview questions were either approved, tweaked or completely rewritten by a member of Perry’s team.

‘I was supposed to minimize myself and stay PC to protect her “image,”‘ Kloss said.

‘I listened and was a good boy. The fear sticks with you, when you are censored to protect someone else’s image. But in return treated like a prostitute and exposed in front of a group of her friends and other random people.’

Kloss also said the pervasive positive public opinion of Perry discouraged him from coming forward. He said: 'Folks I am putting us both out on display to increase and enlighten everyone. I don¿t want money for this, Many of you project your own ambitions. I don¿t want fame from this, that is why I stomached it and kept working, and kept supporting the "Teenage Dream" image. And this anniversary, and time elapse made me realize hey now is the time to let it out and let it go. Not one more day of hearing "How was Katy Perry?"'

‘Then you are shocked and you block it out, because you watch the face of children being uplifted by positive music she sang.

‘And your mind is stuck trying to do your job and protect her bs image or be honest and help the global dialogue about power and abuse. And you hear over and over a million times that Males are the great evil on this planet. Meanwhile you know the truth POWER empowers what is corrupt in people, regardless of their gender.
