She lays the trousers out and folds the legs up towards the belt then in half and half again.

To keep belts organised, Chantel rolls them up through the buckle so they stay in place.

The mum maintains the shape of her handbag by storing them with a ziplock bag full of scrunched up paper inside.

Lastly, Chantel recommends keeping a box at the bottom of the wardrobe to store clothes you no longer wear and want to donate.

Chantel shared the tips in a video posted to her popular TikTok and Instagram pages which drew in dozens of thankful responses.

‘A simple box in in the wardrobe would make such a difference to the mountain I have been collecting!’ one viewer wrote.

‘These tricks are everything,’ another said.

  1. Use soda tabs to double hanging space instantly
  2. Use my simple fold to keep jeans neater and take up less space
  3. Roll belts through the buckle to keep them organised
  4. Place paper in the ziplock bag to maintain the shape of your handbag
  5. Keep a box in your closet to donate clothes

‘I definitely need to organise my wardrobe and have a clear out. Thanks for the motivation,’ a third added.

‘Love the soda taps idea. I clean up my closet at the end of every season and use the hangers backwards to know which clothes I haven’t used (no space for a box),’ a fourth explained.

Chantel is known online for her handy organisation tips and cleaning tricks.

Previously she wowed her followers with her chemical-free cleaning hack that will leave floors sparkling and grime-free.

The mum uses a mix of boiling water, dishwashing detergent and white vinegar in her mop bucket.

She also adds a few drops of essential oil to have the whole house smell amazing and rubbing alcohol which makes the cleaner dry super fast and removes grime.

Chantel said the solution is great on tiles and laminate but recommended a patch test to see if the mix is suitable for other floor types.

She mixed three cups of hot water, 1/4 cup of white vinegar and a teaspoon of dish soap.

Chantel added two more optional ingredients, 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol and essential oil.

She said the rubbing alcohol helps ‘floors dry faster and makes them streak-free but it’s not suitable for all floor types. It’s great for tiles and hybrid laminate floors’.

The mum said it also removes hidden grime while the essential oil makes the whole house smell good.

‘Use discretion if you have pets or small children,’ she added.

‘Note: every floor is different, so make sure to check if this is suitable for your flooring. Always patch test.’

Chantel’s video has been viewed more than 1.9million times across Instagram and TikTok and drew in hundreds of thankful comments.

Mix together:

  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1tsp dish soap
  • 1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
  • A few drops of essential oil

‘Trying this!’ one woman replied and another said: ‘I have just used this wee hack, thank you’.

‘Dishwashing liquid and vinegar is such a good combo with hot water,’ a third agreed.

‘Also mop with the grain, not across,’ someone added.

‘Using natural products are always 100 times better than using chemicals, well done,’ another said.

Others warned against using hot water and vinegar on hard wood and natural timber flooring.

‘Hot water is not good for wood floors. It expands and contracts making it warp more easily,’ one viewer wrote.

‘If those floors are natural timber, you most definitely should not be using vinegar or anything acidic to clean them,’ a second agreed.

‘Natural timber floors need to be cleaned with a pH neutral floor cleaner. Otherwise the floors become dry and porous.’
