Mamma Miaower! Dominic Cooper takes his Mr Kitty for stroll… in a £55 pet papoose while on a stroll with his partner Gemma Chan
When it comes to the secrets of transporting pets, Dominic Cooper won’t let the cat out of the bag.
The Mamma Mia! star bundled his pet Mr Kitty into a space-age papoose, complete with a lookout bubble, when he went for a stroll with his partner Gemma Chan in a North London park last week.
Makers Lollimeow say their £55 backpack means pets feel safer in transit as they can look around -– and fellow A-lister Taylor Swift has been seen taking her cat on to her private jet in a similar design.
Cooper rescued Mr Kitty from Italy while filming there, but he had a rude introduction to London life, falling out of the window of the actor’s flat.
But TV vet Noel Fitzpatrick built him a bionic hip ‘and now he’s kind of fine,’ the Preacher star said earlier this year.

Humans star Chan, Cooper’s partner of five years, has called Mr Kitty ‘the most affectionate cat in the world’.
And to underscore her status as a ‘cat person’, the £130 Kenzo backpack the 40-year-old wore for their outing featured a tiger. Meanwhile, Cooper donned a £500 Louis Vuitton sweater.
Although the 45-year-old’s astronaut-inspired rucksack might look stylish, vets generally urge caution for using backpacks for anything but short trips as they can be cramped and leave the cat feeling ‘exposed’.
The couple were also last week spotted shopping in North London in their 1980s Panda 4×4, one of only 24 believed to be still on the road.
