Man, 80, dies of a ‘heart attack’ on-board a British Airways flight travelling from London Heathrow to Bangkok

An 80-year-old man died on-board a British Airways flight from London Heathrow. 

The passenger reportedly suffered a heart attack while travelling to Bangkok, Thailand, on a Boeing 777 which departed yesterday at 5.10pm. 

Cabin crew carried out CPR for 40 minutes, but the man died an hour before landing, according to AirLiveNet.

The flight was delayed by 45 minutes after landing in Thailand, according to FlightRadar24 data. 

‘Our thoughts are with his family and friends,’ a British Airways spokesman told the Daily Star. 

The return flight to London today was also delayed by two hours.

British Airways has not released further details about the incident.
