This is the shocking moment a buffalo charged into a Chinese restaurant, sending a man and a woman flying across the room as it knocked over tables and chairs.
The animal had escaped from a nearby slaughterhouse in Jiangsu Province, and targeted a woman walking down the street in a red dress.
She desperately tried to escape by running into a small restaurant, but the animal followed and attacked her and a waiter working in the eatery.
Dramatic CCTV footage captured the rampaging buffalo’s bid for freedom and it launched itself into the tiny room and pinned the woman to the floor.

Footage from the restaurant in the city of Yancheng in East China’s Jiangsu Province, which borders Shanghai, showed a man standing inside when he suddenly heard screams coming from the street.
The woman dressed in red bolted into the restaurant, with the large buffalo in hot pursuit.
Both she and the man were bowled over by the charging animal, which knocked over tables and chairs as it careered through the little eatery.
The woman was left weeping during the terrifying experience and did not get up from the floor as the animal turned and left the restaurant.
A man, thought to be the buffalo’s owner, can be seen following the animal into the restaurant before running after it as it leaves.
A man clearing tables was also sent flying by the charging animal as it pushed the fleeing woman to the back of the room
After smashing through the restaurant the buffalo then calmly walked out of the tiny room, closely followed by a slaughterhouse worker
Reports suggested the animal had escaped from the nearby slaughterhouse after becoming frightened – presumably by the prospect of its impending slaughter.
It then ran uncontrollably onto the street before following the woman into the shop.
The buffalo was slaughtered in the end, reports said.
Local authorities say the woman received three stitches on her mouth as a result of the incident. The owner of the bull is expected to pay for her treatment.
