A man has been arrested after police launched an investigation into the alleged indecent assault of a girl at a gaming arcade.
At about 2.10pm on Sunday an 11-year-old girl was in a gaming arcade in a shopping centre in Haymarket, Sydney, when she was allegedly approached by an unknown man.
It is being alleged the man indecently assaulted the girl before she told family members who alerted police but the man had left the scene before they arrived.

Detectives from Sydney City Police Area Command released CCTV images of a man they believe could assist with inquiries.
At about 10.10am on Monday a 51-year-old man was arrested at a shopping centre on Darling Drive, Darling Harbour, and has been taken to Day Street Police Station.
Inquires are continuing.
