A Louisiana man has been arrested for first-degree rape after his wife ended up walking in on him raping a nine-year-old girl.
Glenn Mills, Jr., 41, of Slidell, fled his home July 10 after his wife walked in on him ‘actively involved in a sexual act with a nine-year-old girl that was left in his care,’ according to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office.
After being confronted by his wife, Miranda, Mills fled the home, which is northeast of New Orleans in his pickup truck before the police arrived.
A deputy assigned to the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force found Mills just before 1pm the following day at a home off of 2nd Avenue in Harvey, north of New Orleans.
He was taken into custody without incident.
Mills was arrested and booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center on one charge of first-degree rape and one charge of aggravated crime against nature.
