A man has been charged over the alleged stabbing murder of his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend.
Jordan Byrne, 26, suffered multiple horrific stab wounds to his face and abdomen after a fight in his North Bondi apartment, in Sydney’s east, early Sunday morning.
He was rushed to hospital by paramedics shortly after midnight, but died in surgery.
Milo Manu Felix Wild, 27, was also taken to hospital for minor injuries he sustained in the alleged scuffle, but was soon after released and arrested.

Police say the men were returning to the apartment after a night-out before they became involved in a heated argument.
Byrne had been staying with his girlfriend at her North Bondi unit, which she shares with one of Byrne’s ex-girlfriends.
Neighbours in the apartment complex say the two men were loud, telling the Daily Telegraph they expected police to be called immediately.
‘I heard someone in the block yell out ‘shut up’ but the argument kept going,’ a man said.
Police have established a crime scene at the apartment complex, with detectives going in and out of the building all afternoon.
‘I’m Bondi born and bred and Bondi’s changed a hell of a lot,’ another neighbour told Seven News.

Detectives are re-interviewing the women at the apartment, trying to establish a motive for the alleged attack.
The two men had both dated the same woman, Wild’s current girlfriend, but detectives are still trying determine exactly what sparked the fight.
Police are also still searching for the murder weapon, with teams seen searching through the garden while forensic police worked inside.
Wild was denied bail to appear before Waverley Local Court on Monday.
