Man attacked by Rottweiler in Leppington, Sydney’s south-west

A man has been rushed to hospital after being attacked by a Rottweiler while out on a walk.

Emergency services were called to a home on George Road, in Leppington in Sydney’s southwest at about 7.30am on Monday.

A man aged in his 50s had suffered bite wounds to his head, neck, arm and leg.

He was transported to Liverpool Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

It’s understood the man had been walking past the house when the dog attacked.

A cat at a neighbouring home was also reportedly killed by the Rottweiler.

NSW Police confirmed two dogs had been seized by council rangers who are investigating the incident.

Two Rottweilers were seen in cages following the attack.

Camden Council has been contacted for further comment.
