Man avoids jail for sodomizing girlfriend’s Maltese dog

A New York man escaped jail time with a slap on the paw on Friday after video surfaced of him getting it on with his girlfriend’s dog.

In April 2016, police claimed they had footage of Jesus Gutierrez, 40, sodomizing the Maltese, Princess, in a Lower East Side apartment in Manhattan, New York.

He was charged with misdemeanor sexual misconduct and was given a violation, according to the New York Daily News.

According to police, the man used his fingers on the animal and grinded up against the pup’s genitals for at least 30 minutes.

In April 2016, police said they had footage of Jesus Gutierrez, 40, sodomizing the Maltese, Princess, (stock) in a Lower East Side apartment in Manhattan, New York

His girlfriend had set up the camera at their Clinton Street apartment and caught the act in its entirety.

The dog was visible shaken by the ordeal.

His lawyer, Jack Goldberg, had said that during the incident, his client was intoxicated.

Gutierrez took a plea deal that consisted of him attending a year of counseling and doing so got the charge dropped.

Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Phyllis Chu did sentence the 40-year-old to a conditional discharge of not owning a pet for five years.

‘The incident is inexplicable,’ Goldberg said.

Goldberg shared that Gutierrez – who has six children – and his girlfriend got married and she was in attendance at the court on Friday.

Princess does not live with the couple, however.

Leaving the court house, Gutierrez had a jacket over his head and would not answer any questions.

He had needed a Spanish interpreter during his arraignment and said: ‘No English, no English.’

Maltese dogs are known for their pleasant demeanor and friendly attitude.

The toy breed pup is known for being one of the smallest types of dog, which grow to about eight to 10 inches and only way up to eight pounds.
