Man breaks truck by trying to tow a car with no driver  

A hilarious video posted online shows the cringe-worthy moment a man wrecks his own pickup truck by trying to tow a car behind it with no driver.

A man followed the truck and filmed the whole incident.

The video shows a blue pickup truck dragging a white car behind it. The white car weaves back and forth across the road.

At one point the towed vehicle hops a curb, though the driver of the truck appears to remain oblivious.

When the pickup truck turns a corner, the car does not go with it.

The tow rope had snapped and the truck continues driving while the car remains sitting in the middle of an intersection.

The truck’s tailgate breaks and trails on the road behind the vehicle, at which point the driver finally notices something is amiss and comes to a halt.

It is unclear who took the video or where in the United States it was filmed.
