Pep Guardiola has been awarded Premier League Manager of the Month for the third consecutive month after his Manchester City side won all four of their matches in November.
Guardiola’s men recorded wins over Arsenal, Leicester, Huddersfield and Southampton last month as they continued their outstanding start to the season.
The City boss also scooped the gong in September and October, as his side embarked on their record-breaking run of 15 successive league wins.
Pep Guardiola poses with the Premier League Manager of the Month award for November
Guardiola topped a six-man shortlist to land the November award and become the second manager ever to win it three straight times.
Chelsea’s Antonio Conte, Burnley’s Sean Dyche, Man United’s Jose Mourinho, Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp and Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger were the other managers nominated.
With victories over West Ham, United and Swansea already in December, Guardiola could well become the first man ever to win the award four straight times.
City became the first team ever to record 15 consecutive Premier League victories after thrashing Swansea 4-0 at the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday night.
They had equalled the record, previously set by Arsenal in 2002 across two seasons, with the 2-1 win at Old Trafford.
