Man crawls through baggage carousel at Miami Airport

A man jumped onto the luggage carousel at the Miami International Airport and managed to sprint on the tarmac. 

In video obtained by the Miami Herald, the goof can be seen talking on his cellphone as he saunters past security at an American Airlines checkpoint on Saturday. 

The man can be seen weaving in and around employees on the tarmac before he is tackled and slammed to the ground.

The footage of the unidentified man was sent to the Miami Herald by an anonymous source.

“Had there been a plane at that gate, this individual could have entered the plane or had access to the aircraft,’ said the source. 

‘This is a very restricted area, only accessible to some with very limited access, and he was able to gain access. Very concerning.’

It is unknown what connection the man had to the airport and MIA spokesman Marc Henderson said that the whole ordeal is still under investigation.
