Man found bleeding in street outside Sussex primary school

  • Sussex Police said officers have not yet found suspect responsible for assault 

A man was found bleeding outside a primary school after he was stabbed five times during a shocking daytime attack.

The victim was subjected to the savage assault by Christ Church Primary School in St Leonards-on-Sea in East Sussex, at around 11.30am today.

He was taken to hospital in a serious condition and is being treated for his injuries.

Sussex Police are yet to arrest anyone in relation to the incident, but officers have launched an investigation.  

Inspector Ed Neve said: ‘We have officers working in the area to find the suspect and we are asking anyone who saw what happened to get in touch with this information.

‘Tower Road is currently closed while officers are on scene.’
