Man found holding his own severed PENIS in the Costa del Sol

Man is found holding his own severed PENIS in the Costa del Sol just weeks after Spanish police found a Briton’s hacked off genitals in a plastic bag

  • The man, thought to be Spanish, was holding his detached penis in Costa del Sol
  • Benalmádena hospital doctor found shoelace and rubber bands around remains
  • It echoes a recent incident in Zaragoza when a Briton, 33, had his penis cut off

An investigation is underway after a man was found wandering around the Costa del Sol holding his own half amputated penis.

The man, understood to be Spanish and aged between 30 and 35, was rushed to hospital for an emergency operation.

When doctors examined him, they found shoelaces and rubber bands around his penis as though he had formed some sort of tourniquet, according to Spanish press reports.

The case echoes another bizarre incident in Zaragoza last month when a 33-year-old British man was seen walking around the streets covered in blood after his entire penis had been deliberately cut off. He directed police to his home where they found the missing member in a plastic bag.

Last month, a British man was walking around Zaragoza with blood all over him. His whole penis had been hacked off and he was operated on at Hospital Miguel Servet (pictured)

Doctors later attempted to reattach it but it is not known if the operation was a success or not.

A second British man was arrested a day later for allegedly helping the man to cut his genital off on purpose.

One theory was that the Briton had earlier advertised on the internet for someone to amputate it.

An investigation is currently underway to find out what led up to this second incident on the Costa del Sol.

Local police stopped the man in Benalmádena after noticing blood on his crotch.

At first, he claimed to be an alien named Sergio but later said he was a woman called Naomi.

He said: ‘I am an alien! This isn’t mine!’

The man was also bleeding from the head and appeared dazed and confused.

He was unable to remember who he was or what had happened and his fingerprints are being taken to try and ascertain his identity.

Doctors, who confirmed his penis had been half amputated and another part torn, have operated on him at the Benalmádena hospital.

His condition is believed to be stable but it has not been clarified whether medics managed to save his penis or not.

Tests for alcohol or drugs have reportedly proved negative so the main theory is that he is suffering from some sort of mental disorder.

Spanish newspaper Diariosur says doctors also detected signs of possible suffocation and a CT scam confirmed this but police have no idea why he was wandering around the streets just after 11.30am.

‘At one stage, the man told police he had been bitten,’ Diariosur reported.
