Man from New Jersey buys 8,000 toys from Toys R Us

Christmas came a little early for the people of New Jersey after a mysterious man hit the Toys R Us store in the town of Cherry Hill on Black Friday.

The man, currently identified only as Charlie K., said he was planning to shop for his son when the very generous idea hit him so he decided to treat a lot more children this festive season.

He went to his local Toys R Us store and paid for orders that customers had put on layaway, which added up to a staggering 8,000 toys, according to CBS 3.

Charlie K said ‘I love this community and I am trying to provide back to it,’ after he paid $10,000, at Toys R Us in New Jersey, equaling an amazing 8,000 toys that went to local families on Black Friday

Overall he dealt with and paid for more than 60 orders totaling over $10,000, which equaled 8,000 toys.

Charlie is being hailed as a local superhero thanks to his immensely generous offering.

He humbly said: ‘I’m trying to bring some happiness to people, to the community that brought happiness to me and my family.’

‘I love this community and I am trying to provide back to it.’

People were overwhelmed with his generosity with one woman saying ‘I wanna say thank you very much. I appreciate it. Thank God for you.’

Another woman gushed ‘Definitely an early Christmas and I’m so thankful, I want to say thank you to the gentleman that came in and donated, it’s like the best feeling, thank you.’

A spokeswoman for Toys R Us confirmed the good deed as she said: ‘We love the heartwarming acts of one secret Santa who visited Toys R Us Cherry Hill this morning.’

‘Charlie K. paid off more than 62 Layaway orders totaling approximately $10,780,’ she stated.

As if his heartwarming presents weren’t enough he also purchased an additional $2,000 worth of toys for Toys For Tots, a charity run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.

They specialize in bringing Christmas gifts to children whose parents can’t afford them.
