Appearing to have a problem with another customer, the hooded man replies by screaming at him to ‘get out of my face’.

The dramatic scene caught the attention of TikTok users who questioned whether it was a lockdown related meltdown.

‘Have they run out of toilet paper and white flour again?,’ questioned one user.

‘He just found out the gift cards don’t have the amount printed on them yet,’ joked another.

The TikTok user later claimed the man erupted into a fit of rage after he discovered it was ‘the last item on the shelf’.

Some viewers questioned why none of the bystanders tried to intervene or diffuse the situation.

‘Someone step in? Anyone,’ wrote one viewer.

It’s understood the outburst took place inside an Adelaide supermarket.

South Australia was sent into a one-week lockdown on Tuesday to deal with a Covid cluster that has surged to 15 cases.

Premier Steven Marshall said he was ‘hopeful’ the stay-at-home orders and restrictions would likely end next Tuesday with just one new case recorded on Friday.
