Man in a SUIT paddle boards across the Hudson River to make it to a meeting in NYC

A New Jersey man dressed in a suit was spotted paddle boarding across the Hudson River to make it to a meeting in New York City on time.

Scott Holt, 32, switched up his morning commute Thursday by hopping on the board and braving through rough winds and choppy waters to get to Manhattan – all with a brief case in hand.

The struggling comedian made the journey without a leash or a life jacket, but successfully crossed the Hudson in just 30 minutes.

‘I was just trying to get to my meeting,’ Holt told the New York Post. ‘I didn’t wanna pay for the toll.’

Commuters on a New York Waterway Ferry spotted Holt and took a video of the rare siting in the water.

‘I’m a starving artist, so I had the board and just kind of popped on and went,’ Holt said.

As he got closer to Manhattan, the comic said he hit rougher waters and realized he needed to find a way to get ashore.

‘I didn’t really know where I was going. I was just aiming in that direction,’ he said. ‘I was trying to get towards a spot I could get on and off quickly, and then the current started to pick up.’

Holt reportedly had a meeting with a potential manager.

He took to his Instagram account to post photos from before and during the big commute.

‘Don’t worry I made it to my meeting on time,’ he wrote.

Holt said he had a run in with the police who were not very happy with him.

‘The NY Waterway employee did not like me either,’ he said. ‘I got a good earful, but I told them, ”No, I wasn’t trying to die, my bag is just filled with papers for my meeting.”’
